It will begin by breaking..

August breaking, actually.

A friend on Google + shared this link with me: The August Break and since I'm always looking around for ways to keep myself inspired and my vision fresh, I thought it sounded like a whole lot of fun.

The basic premise is simple: share one photo (or more) a day for every day in August as a way to be more present in your own life for a month.

Heck yes!  Sign me up!

So as of Monday, August the Oneth, I will be posting a photo a day here every day for a month. Judging from the things I've photographed in the past, the photographs that will show up here could be just about anything - something glittery that caught my eye, flowers in bloom, old junker cars, cats, dogs, kids playing in the park, people whose faces I liked, places I've been, reference photos I've snapped for my illustration work et cetera.
I never know what will trigger the muse, and that's part of the joy of it.

I've dusted off the little spy cam, uploaded an HD photography app to my iPhone and even got Big Bertha the Nikon DX out of her comfortable nest in the photography duffel bag.
Have memory cards, will shutterbug!

Heck, we'll shutterboogie!
